Well, I am! Responsible travel is to respect a place and its inhabitants, in very simple terms. You do not have to make sacrifices like leaving travelling by air to be a responsible traveller. It simply means assessing our impact on the environment and local cultures and economies – and acting to make that impact as positive as possible.

When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable
